In the music video, Katy Perry is seen rocking a yellow off-the-shoulder dress that boasts a thigh-high slit. The “Roar” songstress posed in a field of flowers and lip-synced along to the catchy tune.

The song also features Pharrell Williams, who recently announced he won’t return to The Voice, as well as rapper Big Sean. The catchy tune is the latest release from Calvin Harris’ new album Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1.

When Katy Perry isn’t flaunting her curvy figure and yellow hair in Calvin Harris music videos, she has been busy preparing for her role as a judge on the ABC revival of American Idol. According to a recent interview with KISS FM, Perry says she is going to be one of the stricter members of the panel.

“My USP is going to be the truth,” she said. “I give constructive criticism and I think that’s really important. I just want to find a really good musician and a really good singer and that comes first and foremost.”

Perry continued by saying: “Because sometimes they try and do these sob stories first, and life is hard but if you can’t sing then…it’s not about that. They like to do this whole TV thing and I get it, but I’m not there to play that game.”

Earlier this month, Katy Perry was featured on a four-day, 24/7 live broadcast to promote her Witness album. During the streaming event, Perry was seen in a therapy session in which she opened up about her battle with depression and suicidal thoughts.

“I’m ashamed because of course Katy Perry is so strong, but it’s hard because I feel ashamed that I would even have those thoughts and feel that low or that depressed,” she said. “I’m human and I’m living under this crazy microscope.”

The “California Gurls” singer continued by saying: “Look at Katy Perry – she’s so glamorous, she’s rich, she’s luxurious, successful and, like, Katheryn Hudson – I didn’t have any money, I didn’t have any influence, I didn’t have anything.”
