Has the pumpkin spice trend finally gone too far?
It started with lattes and quickly took over all other types of food groups – like chips and yogurt. Now it has come for our fries.

That’s right, McDonald’s Japan has released a new menu item, pumpkin spice and chocolate fries. Luckily, it seems as though the fries are just regular everyday fries that have a swirl of pumpkin and chocolate across the top. So, at least they haven’t changed the amazingness that is traditional fries.
The PSL-inspired fries are a variation of the McChocolate Potatoes, which the restaurant chain offered this winter.
Has this gone too far? Has pumpkin truly invaded the earth? But more importantly, would you consider eating these?
