The mom who says she’s had sex while breastfeeding is back for another controversial talk.
Tasha Maile, aka Spiritual Tasha Mama, says she stopped wearing bras and panties after talking with a friend about how often new ones should be purchased to keep them clean and intact.

The YouTube personality said she was showing a friend a pair of Victoria’s Secret panties that had ripped and become worn out. The friend told her she needed to buy about a dozen new pair every six months so they don’t get overused.
“I have to?” Maile contemplated. After seeing another friend’s post about giving up underwear, too, she made the switch.
“I started feeling much cleaner,” Maile told followers in a YouTube video. “With the underwear, when we have discharge and it just sticks there, which is kind of gross if you think about it. Without underwear, you’re able to breathe and it’s not all wet and moist and smoggy under there.”
Though she still wears underwear on occasionโif she’s wearing a short dress or is having a particularly heavy periodโthe outspoken ‘vegan breastfeeding mama’ said the decision to ditch underwear has been good for her wallet and hygiene.
“It’s not a breeding ground for a yeast infection anymore,” she told viewers.
The video (click here to watch) has more than 2 million views and over a hundred comments, many from curious followers. “So where does the discharge go? Down your leg? Wet spot on bottoms? Just curious for those who are hair free cause there’s nothing to really catch it?” asked one follower with no response from Maile.
Other commenters showed support for Maile’s decision, noting they made the same switch. “I don’t wear underwear or a bra! Never have. Was for a longtime embarrassed to say it but seeing your video and another gal’s, I realized I’m not the only one who doesn’t wear underwear. Feel normal now! Thanks!” one user wrote.
Others called out the fact that throughout the nearly six-minute video, Maile’s son breastfeeds and plays with her nipples, something the mom says keeps kids calm during feeding and helps milk production.
Nearly all of Maile’s more than 300 YouTube videos feature her exposed breast with at least one child latched to her. This has led the controversial mom to rise to fame for a few reasons.
Breastfeeding during sex:
The ‘Spiritual Breastfeeding Mama’ went viral after her video “Do I Have Sex While Breastfeeding?”ย drew major attention.
“We are pleasure beings, we are meant toย enjoy sex and pleasureย and all things can be orgasmic,” Maile stated in the video. “I’ve had a lot people ask me if it’s okay toย breastfeedย and have sex. From what I remember, I remember sleeping with my ex-husband and my son was on me breastfeeding and we would have sex from behind or something.”
The mom of three added: “There’s nothing bad about making love at all, ever.”
As expected, critics called the vlogger’sย story inappropriate and accused her of incest.
Maileย responded withย aย follow-up videoย in May, saying, “My 3-month-old would not allow me to put him down at all. So he was attached to me 24/7. And he was always using me as a binky at night,” Maile said. “So we did it while he was sleeping next to me or on me. It had nothing to do with my child. My child was not in the act of what we were doing.”
Toddler’s alarming comment:
Once Maile’sย breastfeeding during sex video gained traction, critics slammed another one of the controversial mom’s videos in which she breastfed 3-year-old son Josiah. In the three-minute video called “Implants and Breastfeeding My Toddler”, ย the mom and son talk to followers candidly about feeding and her breasts.
But towardย the end of the video, Josiah says: “It’s good to breastfeed and kiss.”
“Breastfeed and kiss? What do you mean?” Maileย replies.
The little boy says: “Yesterday you were pretending you were my girlfriend and you were my boyfriend โ I’m, I’m your boyfriend โ and I kissed you.”
Maileย only response isย “That is so cute,” before ending the video.
Some of the video’sย 4.7 million viewersย called the momย “sick” as a result of this awkward exchange.
“did youre [sic] son say that you pretended to be his girlfriend i need answers,” one commenter wrote.
Another asked,ย “Wait did he say they were pretending to be boyfriend and girlfriend and kissed?” Someone replied,ย “Yes that what I heard and that’s why she stopped recording” and another woman responded: “very sick”.
Another went so far as to say the momย “has psychological issues and is looking for attention”.
Maile’s responses:
After finding online fame with her controversial practices, Maile shared a video on Instagramย to address the hate she’d been receiving.ย
On July 18, she breastfed twoย of her children while saying,ย “Let’s talk about why [breastfeeding] makes you feel uncomfortable and why it makes you feel okay to belittle me or to put me down as a human or that I am any less human than you are just because you feel uncomfortable with this, with breastfeeding,”ย Maileย said while speaking to the camera, her baby on one breast and her toddler on the other.
“Does it make it okay to belittle somebody because you are uncomfortable?” she continued.
In response to this video, many praised the mom’s candidness and efforts to ‘normalize’ breastfeeding,ย but others were still shaken up by her thoughts and actions.
“There is NOTHING good/natural/beautiful about incorporating your own children (any children) into sexual activity,” one critic wrote. “Stop acting like the outrage is over the fact that you breastfeed!!!โฆ Women have tried so hard to de-sexualize breastfeeding and you have set the entire movement back by sexualizing breastfeeding to the EXTREME. And you are using your own children in the process, all for a buck…”
Maile’s other ‘job’:
In what she said to be an effort to put the controversy to bed, Maileย wrote a post for Romper titled “I’m the Mom Who Breastfed During Sex & Here’s What You Get Wrong About Me”. But in the story, the mom stole some of her own spotlight by admitting that she sells adult videos, specializing in lactation fetishes.
Overย the last six months, sheย says she’s been making solo videos and custom content on the site ClipsForSale.ย She charges anywhere from $30 to $200 or $400, depending on the watcher’s wants.
“I also do pumping videos [for lactation fetishists, orย people who have a fetish for breastfeeding women],” she said. “I don’t think it sexualizes breastfeeding.ย Breastfeedingย is the actual physical act of breastfeeding. Lactation is a different thing. It’s a fetish, and partners play around that topic and area without children.”
For those quick to criticize,ย Maileย assures readers thatย her children are never in the room during the filming of these adult videos and they are not involved in the sessions.ย This ‘business venture’ only calls for Maileย to pump or produce milk on camera.
“They’re your breasts. They can be sexual,” she continued. “They can be used during sexual play. I have nothing against that. It’s human nature. I think it’s beautiful.”
Also in the post, Maileย again tried to explain her reasoning for breastfeeding during sex.
“It was one of those things that kind of just happened and it worked,” she said. “But there was absolutely zero sexual energy toward the baby, who was sleeping.”
She added,ย “From the other emails I’ve gotten, it seems like that’s the position that’s most common [among couples who breastfeed during sex]: gently from behind.” Here’s to attempting to ‘normalize’ sex with a child latched to your breast.
