Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell Throw Joint Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties

With the Duggar family‘s lifestyle, you wouldn’t expect them to have your typical bachelor and bachelorette parties. Joseph Duggar and his fiancé, Kendra Caldwell, lived up to that expectation and linked up to have a joint celebration out on the water.

The couple went to Lost Bridge Marina in Beaver Lake, Arkansas, with a group of 25 family members and friends. While a boat day isn’t what most people picture for a bachelor/bachelorette party, Duggar and Caldwell wanted to use the experience as a family bonding moment.

“We decided to do a joint bachelor-bachelorette party because we love spending time together,” the couple told People. “We figured this would be a really good activity for both of our families to connect.”

“We ended up doing the water skiing and tubing for our joint bachelor/bachelorette party because Kendra loves the water, and I just enjoy doing whatever she’s doing,” Duggar said.

The couple seemed to have a fun time on the lake, according to what they told the TLC cameras after the outing.

“I think my favorite part of the day was when we got to do the tubing together,” Duggar said. “I think that was a blast.”
