D’oh! It looks like The Simpsons has found their newest bit of pop culture to parody: Pokemon GO. Following a hugely viral web clip, the animated series is now borrow Pokemon GO and creating an entire episode about the addictive mobile app.

The news was confirmed earlier today as producers and cast members from The Simpsons took stage at San Diego Comic Con. The group first announced which guest stars would be providing their vocal talents for the show’s 28th season before an audience Q&A got underway.

Given Pokemon GO‘s popularity, it’s no surprise that one particular fan had the game on their mind when they asked whether The Simpsons was working on a Pokemon GO episode. Executive Producer Al Jean revealed that the series was, in fact, working on such an episode. And, after the panel, Jean spoke with Entertainment Weekend to expound on his earlier his statement. Though he’s unsure when the episode will officially air, he’s, “fully confident that it’s still going to be a big thing.” So, even if some fans wonder whether Pokemon GO will fade as a fad in the coming months, it seems like The Simpsons is banking on the app’s staying power.

When it comes to the episode’s storyline, Jean said that it’ll show Homer and Lisa “playing [the game] all the time and they’re wasting all the money.” Clearly, this sounds like something Homer would easily fall into, but it’s surprising to hear that the ever-intelligent Lisa would fall for Pokemon GO‘s in-app purchases. I guess it just goes to show how determined the little girl is to become Springfield’s greatest pokemon master.

For its upcoming season, The Simpsons will be partaking in several crossover adventures that’s got fans excited. The 28th season will contain a Robot Chicken-themed couch joke for starters, and The Simpsons will have yet another big crossover with Adventure Time later on. Mike Anderson, Supervising Director, pitched his idea to Cartoon Network to have Adventure Time‘s theme song get transformed into “Simpsons Time.”

While there’s no word yet on what the remixed song will sound like, fans of both animated series are interested to see what comes of the unexpected pairing.
