A Very Murray Christmas
Who doesn’t love Bill Murray? I mean, the guy’s a comedy legend and has the uncanny ability to make practically everyone in the world laugh. He stars in the Netflix original A Very Murray Christmas, which centers around Murray and his journey through a rather depressing start to the holidays. However, Murray and his crew make the best out of what they have and end up turning things around. I guess you could say it’s a Christmas miracle.
Love, Actually
It hasn’t quite been around long enough to be called a “classic” in its truest sense, but Love, Actually has already become an annual Christmas tradition for millions of families. It’s a movie that will make you laugh, cry and at times want to pull your hair out. The movie does a splendid job moving through the many story lines and pulling them together for a very satisfying ending.
The Holiday
When two lonely and frustrated gals swap houses during the holidays, they find themselves on opposite ends of the world in a totally unfamiliar setting. They were just looking for some peace and quiet, a way to escape their lives for a while. Instead, they found love.
Just Friends
Perhaps one of the most hilarious Christmas movies of all time, Just Friends follows Ryan Reynolds as he tries to reconnect with his childhood crush. His character works tirelessly to impress, but one fiasco after another means he’s still stuck in the “friend zone.” It’s only after he stops pretending to be someone he’s not that his crush see he for who he really is.
Holidays
Look, not everyone is into the holidays, and that’s okay. In fact, it’s pretty much the plot of the movie Holidays, which looks at the horrors of all holidays in general. So if you’re feeling a little anti-holiday this Christmas, this might just be the movie for you.
