Rihanna is catching a tsunami of backlash over some Instagram posts and you honestly wouldn’t think it would be that controversial.
The pop superstar shared some old Instagram images of her that have been altered with the head of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth.

Many of her British followers are very unhappy.
The comments of the photos have included things like, “Its rude you know. This is not funny. She’s someone’s grandma. Imagine if its yours… Maybe research her life before you take the piss, she had no choice to become the monarch, she’s not even entitled to have individual opinions or be an individual or even her own birth name!”

One commenter said, “She is forced to be the face of the church, common wealth and monarchy, government, she ain’t even allowed to vote or abstain from church rules because the her coronation where she took the oath…”
Another fired off, “Rihanna doesn’t even know what respect means she’s trashy always will be… Offensive and sad the extent people go for attention… what do we expect to this pathetic illuminati puppet.,… Why are you taking the piss out of our queen?”

Not everyone was angry with RiRi though. Some of the comments reflected that people got the joke, saying things like, “Love how some people mad at these posts and she’s like… I’m in tears. This takes the cake… it’s just a way to say happy birthday and I don’t think it’s that much important…”
