Teen Mom 2‘s Kailyn Lowry is tired of the speculation as to who the father of her third child is. The expecting mother took to Twitter to slam the tabloid rumors and also to explain why she recently got a DNA test done.
The 25-year-old retweeted an article from OK! Magazine that reads: “Pregnant Kailyn Lowry takes DNA test – Is Chris Lopez REALLY the baby daddy?”

Since announcing several months ago that she is pregnant with her third child, Kailyn Lowry has been a constant fixture in the media with many wondering who the father is. Lowry officially divorced her husband Javi Marroquin back in December, and she confirmed that it was not him. However, she wasn’t forthcoming about the identity of the dad until now.
On Tuesday morning, the MTV starlet was clearly ready to put an end to the ongoing discussion about the baby daddy once and for all. She confirmed that her friend Chris Lopez is the father of her unborn child. Also, Kail did admit to getting a DNA test, but it had nothing to do with finding out who the father was.

Kailyn’s fans went totally nuts after she gave the confirmation that Chris Lopez is the father. A slew of social media users responded to Kailyn’s tweet, and the mother of two even replied to one of them.

Back in February, Kailyn took to her website to share a message about her third pregnancy. She wanted it to be clear that having another baby was a “choice” that she decided to follow through with, despite once telling her ex-husband Javi Marroquin that she didn’t want any more kids.
“Please know this was a choice I made,” Lowry wrote of her pregnancy in the blog post. “I already know some won’t agree but I’ve been showered with support by the ones I love since I found out. Why did I wait? I’ve had a lot of health complications leading up to this pregnancy and I was not ready to release such private information on my own just yet being that I am so high risk with this pregnancy. I didn’t want to announce just to have another miscarriage and suffer through another grief. … I know this isn’t an ideal situation but I know everything will be okay.”
After confirming that Chris Lopez is the father of her third child on Tuesday, Kail answered several social media users that blasted her over the situation.
One user tweeted at Kailyn: “You create a storm and then cry when it rains.” The reality star responded by writing, “Def responsible for some of it. But I’m not crying lol.”
