It has now been 25 years since late actor Robin Williams flew onto the silver screen as Peter Pan in “Hook.” To honor the occasion, and the second anniversary of Williams’ death, the original Lost Boys reunited for the first time ever by returning to Neverland for an awesome throwback photo shoot.

“We haven’t seen each other in quite some time but I almost feel like there was no lost time,” James Madio stated to ET’s Denny Directo. “We just picked it up right away where we were and just reminiscing about everything. It’s just really cool.”

During filming, the young actors ranged from ages 6 to 17 years old. For many of the boys it was their first role ever. They were introduced to grandiose practical sets, and were given the opportunity to work under the direction of Steven Spielberg.

CEO/Producer of 22 Vision, Brian Pocrass, spent two years trying to get the Lost Boys together, according to ET. “‘Hook’ is just one of those movies that people really grew up on,” he stated. “To get them together to remember Robin and celebrate this milestone is something that I loved being a part of.”

Pocrass and his team had the cast recreate some of their classic looks for an epic throwback photo shoot. Dante Basco, who portrayed the Rufio (leader of the Lost Boys), was there for the reunion and even donned the iconic feather mohawk and ripped jeans.

“You have to understand, when you’re 15 and you’re doing this Steven Spielberg movie with megastars – Robin Williams, Dustin Hoffman, Julia Roberts – you know you want to be cool,” Basco remembers. “I don’t know how cool I’m going to look with my belly button out!”

“I mean, through the months it grew on me and now, I mean, years later it’s become this iconic, iconic look that people cosplay around the world,” Basco said.

Basco also commented on Robin Williams in light of the second anniversary of his death. “I think for all of us [Robin’s death] was the death of our childhood,” he said. “There’s sadness there, also there’s a lot of space to kinda celebrate one of the most legendary artists of our time.”
