But most importantly, the question remains whether Drake will be reprising his role as fan favorite Jimmy Brooks a.k.a. Wheels? Drake portrayed the popular basketball star who was bound to a wheelchair after a school shooting in one of the show’s more over-the-top incidents. While he probably will not appear in the episode, we can always hope.

The episode will air on July 22nd as a celebration of the series hitting its 500th episode. Netflix launched an announcement video, which was first posted to the Degrassi Facebook page. The video notably was missing Drake, but did include Jake Epstein, Lauren Collins, Sarah Barrable-Tishauer, Adam Ruggiero, Shane Kippel, and Miriam McDonald.

No word yet on whether JT will return for the dead, but we will have a chance to find out when the reunion episode airs this Friday, July 22.
