Adele returned to the Grammy stage to delivered an emotional tribute to George Michael with a stunning cover of Fastlove.
Adele’s performance got off to a rocky start as the singer stopped a quarter of the way into the Older track, swore, apologized and began again. On her second go, Adele delivered Fastlove with such command, building to a chilling belt over a striking new arrangement that featured an ominous piano melody.

Along with her tribute to Michael, Adele opened the Grammy awards with a performance of her hit single Hello. She was also nominated for five awards, including Album of the Year for 25 and Song and Record of the Year for Hello. So far, she’s won best Pop Solo Performance and Pop Vocal Album for Hello and 25 respectively.
