Hardware hacker, Pawel Zadrozniak, fired up his electronic orchestra, which he calls the Floppotron, and programmed the system to play theme song to Game of Thrones. According to TIME, The Floppotron consists of 64 floppy drives, eight hard drives, two scanners and a bunch of other tech equipment and the results are incredible!

Zadrozniak describes the process on his he programmed the machine to deliver a musical performance. On his website Silent.Org, he explained the process writing: "The principle is simple. Every device with an electric motor is able to generate a sound. Scanners and floppy drives use stepper motors to move the head with sensors which scans the image or performs read/write operations on a magnetic disk. The sound generated by a motor depends on driving speed. The higher the frequency, the greater the pitch. hard disks use a magnet and a coil to tilt the head. When voltage is supplied for long enough, the head speeds up and hits the bound making the 'drum hit' sound."

Simple enough, right? Well maybe for Zadrozniak it may be simple considering he has already posted several other musical performances with his Floppotron orchestra on his YouTube channel. Other songs include: Star Wars song "The Imperial March," the Nirvana smash hit "Smells Like Teen Spirit," and the theme song to "Hawaii Five-O." All of the songs are equally impressive and have a striking similarity to the originals but with an electronic touch.

The Floppotron version of the Game of Thrones trailer has already received around 50,000 views after only being up on YouTube for one day.
