Watch A Couple Do The Naughty During A Live Rio Broadcast

While BBC's Dan Walker was presenting a round-up of the day's Olympic action, there was some other steamy action in the background of the broadcast that was catching the attention of the viewers. Directly behind Walker on the Copacabana beach, a couple could be seen getting quite intimate.

Walker and his team tried to ignore the couple getting cozy behind them, but as people began blowing up Walker's twitter account, he had no choice but to address the incident. While trying to suppress his laughter, Walker told the viewers that the couple was not actually doing what it looks like they were doing. Instead, he stated that the couple was just "having a hug," and that they were "reading a book in a strange pose." He even promised the viewers that they would find out what the book was about later on in the show.

The BBC host maintained that the couple was doing "that," but he did mention that the camera would not be zooming in on the couple in the background to get a closer look. "And for those asking what's going on in the background on social media now, we're not gonna zoom in, but rest assured, it's not that. It's just a hug," Walker explained. But, come on, we don't think anybody's buying that, Dan.
