As it turns out, a somewhat bored Alligator (now nicknamed the Golf Gator, but we'll name him Fred for funsies) felt like teeing off at a Palmetto, Florida golf course recently, and now we have some additional footage that shows just how massive Fred is.

Thanks to Youtube user K Powell (via Digg), we have a much closer look at the impressive animal as he saunters across the course, I guess attempting to find his caddy or possibly Chubb's other hand. The alligator is massive, with Powell estimating him to be "at least 16 feet long".

If you need a comparison, Powell points to the sand trap during the video and Fred walks by a tree, giving you a good indication of his size.

The original video was posted by Charles Helms, and while it doesn't happen every day, it wasn't too long ago that another alligator with the nickname Goliath appeared on a golf course in Englewood, Florida.

Florida's climate naturally attracts the animals, so I'm sure next year we'll probably be seeing another one show up out of nowhere. Now that I think about it, though, Fred isn't impressive enough compared to Goliath. How about Gigantor? That's way more imposing than Fred, and if another one comes along next year, we can't name him Golf Gator the 2nd, so Gigantor it is.
