Connie Britton, Hayden Panettiere, And More Returning For Nashville Season 5

Great news for Nashville fans. When ABC passed on renewing Nashville, and the series was picked up by CMT, many wondered how many stars from the cast would sign on with the new network.

According to TVLine, both Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere can be counted as two of the main cast members returning for Season 5. In addition, Charles Esten, Sam Palladio, Jonathan Jackson, Clare Bowen, Lennon Stella, Maisy Stella and Chris Carmack are also expected to return.

TVLine reports that a Lionsgate rep declined to comment on their story. While several stars are returning, Will Chase and Aubrey Peeples will reportedly not be back.

CMT is attempting to bring back as many cast members as possible for the upcoming 22-episode season. Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick will serve as showrunners for Season 5.
