No further details have been revealed about the former Orange Is The New Black star’s role, according to Screen Rant.
In addition to Schreiber, Neve Campbell and Chin Han have also been cast in the film.
Few details are known about the film at this time, but it is said to be about “a former hostage negotiator (Johnson) who is now a security consultant who specifically checks the safety of skyscrapers. While in Hong Kong, a skyscraper catches fire and Johnson’s character is blamed. Not only does he have to find out who is really responsible and clear his name — he also has to rescue his family trapped inside.”

Orange Is The New Black fans will remember Schreiber as the sleazy guard George “Pornstache” Mendez, who was tricked into having sex with Daya so they could blame her pre-existing pregnancy on him, thus causing him to be fired for inappropriate conduct.
Fast forward to the current season, Mendez makes a brief cameo and it’s clear that he still has no idea the child isn’t his, and he may never find out.
Other than Orange Is The New Black, Schreiber has also starred in Weeds, The Wire, and Law & Order: SVU, as well as films like Bubble Boy and the upcoming Big Bear.
Most recently he appeared in the Starz hit American Gods.
Skyscraper will be directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, the man responsible for Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, We’re the Millers, and the Dwayne Johnson/Kevin Hart hit Central Intelligence.
