While taking in the US Open, Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio graciously agreed to take a selfie with a young girl.

The 41-year-old actor isn’t someone that you would normally associate with taking selfies, but he was caught on camera doing just that. As he watched the tennis competition at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing, New York, the Wolf of Wall Street star took the photo, and then showed it to her for approval.

DiCaprio seemed to be having fun showing her the selfie, and looked like he was becoming fast friends with the young fan as they sat and talked. He was seated in the section next to the girl, but it is unknown who she was sitting with.

The Academy Award winner was in the box seats with Israeli investor Vivi Nevo. DiCaprio was donning a preppy look in a newsboy cap, collared shirt, sunglasses, and jeans. Missing from the photos was Leo’s new supermodel girlfriend, Nina Agdal.

Leo most recently showed up at the Toronto International Film Festival on Friday for the premiere of his film Before The Flood, according to Daily Mail. He posed on the red carpet with Tim Pastore, Brett Ratner, and Fisher Stevens.

Before the movie was shown, DiCaprio tweeted: “Looking forward to sharing this documentary with everyone as we continue to act on #climatechange together.”

The film was directed by Stevens who also served as a producer with DiCaprio, Ratner, James Packer, Trevor Davidoski, and Jennifer Davisson Killoran. The executive producer was one of Leo’s favorite collaborators Martin Scorsese.

Would you be brave enough to approach Leonardo DiCaprio for a selfie?
