Kailyn Lowry Has the ‘Most Emotional Weekend’ as Third Baby’s Due Date Approaches

Kailyn Lowry is nearing her final days as a mother of two.

The Teen Mom 2 star is expecting her third child and first with her friend Chris Lopez. Lowry has documented many moments throughout her pregnancy on social media including her maternity photo shoots and talked about baby names with her fans.

As the newest season of the MTV show recently premiered, viewers get to see Lowry’s pregnancy experience first hand, which we don’t doubt will have some drama attached to it.

Despite being a public figure on a reality tv show, Lowry tries her best to keep some of her baby drama private from viewers. During a promo for the new season, Lowry can be seen telling her ex and first baby daddy, Jo Rivera, that her situation with Lopez was “not solid,” but she “[didn’t] want to discuss any of it on TV.”

A source revealed information to Hollywood Life that backs up Lowry’s claims. “Things ended pretty badly [between Lopez and Lowry],” a source said. “He’s been a real a-s to her, and has made it clear he doesn’t want anything to do with the baby. Kailyn’s hoping he will change his mind when the baby arrives — she doesn’t care about the financial side of things.”

Although the baby daddy drama seems to be brewing on Teen Mom 2, Lowry appears to have overcome the issues while anticipating the arrival of her third child.

However, she took to Twitter this past weekend to express the emotions she’s been feeling lately.

Kailyn Lowry’s ‘Emotional Weekend’…

On Sunday, the MTV star talked about her last few days of being a mother of two. The fact that her family was going to change once again finally hit her.

As she awaits her third child’s due date, the reality star took to Twitter to reveal she had an emotional weekend.

“This weekend was the most emotional weekend I think I’ve experienced in a long time,” Lowry, 25, tweeted on Sunday, July 23.

“The boys went to their dads & im just thinking what if this was the last week/weekend as a family of 3?!? So bittersweet!” 

Her newest addition will join her two sons, Isaac, 7, with ex Rivera, and Lincoln, 3, with ex-husband Javi Marroquin.

Although she denies knowing the baby’s sex, she has a feeling it is going to be a boy.

 

Did She Reveal Her Baby’s Name?

Teen Mom 2 fans have been dying to know what Lowry will name her third child.

Lowry let one of her top choices slip on Sunday, July 16, when she polled her Twitter followers on a possible name choice.

She asked fans, “I like last names for first names, how do we feel about Murphy for baby lo?”

She tweeted out the question with a simple yes or no poll, and the results were less than promising. With 39,149 voting, 78 percent said “no” to baby Murphy. That’s more than 30,500 people against the name.

If she listens to that crowd, Murphy is off the list.

Based on her following tweets, it appears she is taking the poll to heart and is keeping her options open.

She shared a screenshot of herself Googling how long she has to name her child after birth. According to her search, she has six months to register a name, so that should be plenty of time.

The MTV Star’s Maternity Photos…

As her due date approaches for her third baby, the reality star spent some time taking maternity photos by the ocean to commemorate her pregnancy.

Lowry took to Instagram on Wednesday to share her stunning maternity photos.

In a series of three pictures, the MTV star poses in a long black, off-the shoulder gown that shows off her growing baby bump. In two of the photos, she finishes of the understated look with a red flower crown.

Last Tuesday, she shared a sneak peek of the photo shoot on Instagram, posing on the beach by a mountain of rocks. “Had so much fun taking my maternity pictures,” she wrote.
