Ingredients

  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 1 Tbsp flaxseed
  • 4 medium-size apples peeled and diced
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk

Optional*:

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup walnuts

Instructions

  1. Spray slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Add all ingredients to slow cooker and stir gently to mix ingredients together.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. If possible, stir and check oatmeal after 5-6 hours of cooking.
