Anyone who’s grown up in the last two decades will tell you that Disney Channel was a key part of their TV viewing habits.
Besides its long list of original shows like Lizzie McGuire, Hannah Montana and Even Stevens, the channel is known for its original films.

Most viewers of the films when they originally aired aren’t still tuning in to station, but they do use Netflix. Luckily, Disney has partnered with the streaming giant, and there are a decent selection of Disney Channel Original Movies on the service.
While most of the classics like Halloweentown and Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century aren’t available, a ton of the more modern picks from the last ten years or so are.
Here are some of the best Disney Channel Original Movies on Netflix, followed by the complete list:
High School Musical
High School Musical
High School Musical is probably the most popular movie to ever some out of Disney Channel. It not only launched a trilogy of musicals for kids/pre-teens (the third of which was theatrical and grossed $252 million), but it also started the careers of Zac Efron Vanessa Hudgens, among others.
Even though it’s cheesy at times (like all DCOMs are), it’s still got some ear worms in its soundtrack, like the basketball jam “Get’cha Head in the Game” and the Efron/Hudgens duet “Breaking Free.”
Plus, you can also catch the sequel High School Musical 2 and the series’ spin-off, Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure, on the service for a mini-marathon.
Camp Rock / The Cheetah Girls
Camp Rock
Camp Rock took the TV musical torch from High School Musical as it was going into theaters. It gave both Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers their first film credits and started them on the way to become big pop names.
While it’s not as cool and “rock ‘n’ roll” centric as you’d imagine from the title, it’s a fun nostalgia trip for those watching Disney Channel at the time.
The Cheetah Girls
Another one of the DCOM collection’s musical highlights is The Cheetah Girls. This Raven-Symoné- and Adrienne Bailon-starring film is all about the formation of a pop group on the road to success. It caused a mini-craze of its own and set the stage for HSM three years later.

Cadet Kelly / Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension
Cadet Kelly
While most the DCOM classics are not on Netflix, this 2002 Hillary Duff favorite is available. Starring Duff as an art-school-kid sent to military school in a fish-out-of-water situation, Cadet Kelly is a silly, simple movie that shows off Duff’s bubbly comedy chops that fans loved on Lizzie McGuire.
Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension
The out-of-this world imagination of Phineas and Ferb made it one of most solid cartoons to come out in the last decade. Across the 2nd Dimension is the animated duo’s only film outing and is the one of the few animated DCOMs. It lives up to the hype, as the boy’s wacky adventures collide with their pet platypus’ secret spy career for a goofy, random romp that kids will love and adults will get a giggle or two out of.
