We are willing to bet you have never heard and/or heard of a piano made out of chopsticks, but we can guarantee that you are in for a treat. This unique instrument delivers crazy cool sounds that you definitely would not expect chopsticks to be able to make on a piano.

The Tokyo-based composer and inventor in the video, Sami Elu, created the amazing song entirely from recycled instruments. There is so much going on it is hard to even comprehend how he is making all of the sounds at once. He plays the chopstick piano with his left hand mostly, plucks on some of the piano wires in his right hand, and lays down a sick drum beat with his feet. The coordination and dexterity to pull off a song like this will blow you away, and not to mention the tune itself is blissfully soothing.

While this may not be the first iteration of the chopstick piano ever made, the song in this video is definitely the most complex performance with the unique instrument.

Check out the video above to watch/listen to this insanely awesome song played on a piano made out of chopsticks.

Have you ever heard of anyone playing a piano made out of chopsticks?
