Matt Baier Reacts to ‘Teen Mom’ Amber Portwood Kissing Another Man

Though MTV reality stars, Amber Portwood and Matt Baier called it quits this past June, the Teen Mom OG star’s former fiancé says he wants nothing but the best for her.

E! News reports after video from Radar Online emerged of the reality star kissing an unidentified man while filming the new season of Teen Mom OG, Baier has nothing but kind words for Portwood going ahead.

“All I ever wanted for Amber is for her to be happy and safe,” Baier told the news outlet while in Las Vegas. “We spent three years building a life together and they were the three happiest years of my life. I wouldn’t trade them for anything.”

The 46-year-old goes on to add that if she ever needs him, he’s just a phone call away.

Last month, Portwood, 27, opened up to Dr. Drew Pinsky on his podcast show, “This Life #YouLive” and revealed while she and Baier haven’t cut off communication, they aren’t exactly making peace.

“We are talking, but we’re not talking in a sense that we’re going to get back together,” Portwood stated. “We argue too much.”

She goes on to tell Pinsky that the two are not living together, saying, “We haven’t lived together in now almost two months. I broke up with him before we went on Family Boot Camp.”

However, after the breakup, Portwood says she just “lost” her independence and self because she was “too focused on Matt.”

But her emotional connection with Baier isn’t severed as she reveals the two still stay in touch.

“We still talk, of course, because love doesn’t just shut off like that. That’s not how it works. I just want him to be happy,” she said.

Portwood has yet to comment publicly on the footage capturing her public display of affection, nor disclose who the person is. However, a source tells E! News she’s filmed Teen Mom scenes with him.
