All The Teen Mom 2 Dramatic Moments Between Kailyn Lowry And Javi Marroquin

For anyone that has watched Teen Mom 2, you are likely aware that star Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin had a seriously rocky relationship that eventually led to them separating ways.

Lowry and Marroquin wed back in 2013 and have one son together, 3-year-old Lincoln. The reality star mom also has a 6-year-old named Isaac with her ex Jo Rivera.

The former lovebirds constantly were accusing each other of cheating and their relationship eventually hit a tipping point. Kailyn and Javi tried marriage counseling several times but it never took.

Kailyn’s Miscarriage

One of the most dramatic moments that put strain on Kailyn’s relationship with Javi was her miscarriage.

Kailyn spoke out after the tragic issue.

“MTV and the producers were very sensitive to the situation and just understood that I wasn’t necessarily ready to talk about it as soon as it happened,” Lowry said. “They kind of just gave me my time to grieve, and when I was ready and felt like I was comfortable talking about it, I did.”

“I know that there are people that are going to talk about it, but I think at the end of the day I’m going to help more people by [being open] about it, so that’s what kind of keeps me going through the whole thing,” she says.

Javi admitted that the miscarriage made him angry with Kailyn.

“I needed someone to blame,” Javi said. “I needed to blame somebody, and I was taking it out on you.”

Kailyn Reveals Plans To Split From Javi

While hanging at the beach, 24-year-old Kailyn Lowry opened up about her struggles with her spouse. At the beginning of the clip shared on MTV, Kailyn admitted that she intends to file for divorce from Javi.

“I don’t know what he wants,” Lowry said. “He’s been so back-and-forth I’m not really sure.”

“I think there’s so much damage that it’s almost irreparable like we just can’t fix it,” she said.

Lowry went on to explain that her kids, Lincoln Marroquin and Isaac Rivera, were mostly unaware that their parents were headed for a divorce at the time.

“I kind of briefly told Isaac like Javi may get a new house when he comes home,” Lowry said. “And he can go visit him at his house. So he kind of knows, but like I didn’t really want to tell them too much without knowing what really is going to happen.”

Javi Returns Home

When Javi Marroquin returned home for the first time from deployment, there was a serious tension that had been building up. While Kailyn was clearly worked up about the encounter, her kids were not.

The two were waiting for Javi at the door as Kailyn stood there trying not to immediately lash out at him. Lincoln and Isaac ran over to Javi to give him a huge hug and express how excited they were to see him.

Despite the fact that the kids were overjoyed to see Javi, there were an evident awkwardness between the two that made for one of their most dramatic moments.

Javi Shoots Down The Rumors Of Reconciliation

One seriously dramatic moment was when Javi shot down rumors that he and Kailyn would ever be getting back together. There were rumblings circulating in the media that the two might reconcile, but Javi took to Twitter to end the chatter once and for all.

“Idk where the rumor started about me and kali getting back together. No. Never,” Marroquin tweeted. “Not tryna disrespect but we are much happier apart.”

Even though he doesn’t have plans to get back with Kailyn, Javi said that he does have the best interest of their kids in mind.

“Our first priority is Lincoln’s happiness and Isaac’s happiness. Our second is for them to see both of their parents happy, and together we’re both not happy,” Marroquin recently said while talking with Us Weekly. “I think we both decided that this is the best move and she’ll be happy and I’ll be happy.”

Kailyn And Javi Argue In Front of the Kids

While Kailyn and Javi seemed to be acting civil when he first arrived at the house following his deployment, it was only moments later that she snapped at him.

Javi asked his estranged wife to borrow the car seats, but she was not having it.

“You can get your own car seats,” Kailyn said.

Javi responded by saying, “Are you being serious right now, this is how it’s going to be? I just got home, I want to take them to camp, you’re going to be like that?”

Kailyn Officially Announced Their Divorce

When Kailyn finally broke the news to everyone that she and Javi were officially getting a divorce, the moment was seriously emotional.

Kailyn’s ex, Jo Rivera, met with her to make sure that Isaac and Lincoln would be seeing each other as often as possible. Isaac was heartbroken as he couldn’t figure out why he wouldn’t have his own room at Javi’s new house.

In speaking of the divorce, Lowry told Daily Mail, “We are trying to do the best we can for our kids because they are really what mattes.”
