This election has been a doozy. Both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have had their fare share of controversies, each being embroiled in a new scandal on a seemingly daily basis. Tensions have been high throughout the election cycle, and as election day continues, it’s only getting worse, with one gunman already having opened fire near a polling station.
That’s just a few of the reasons so many celebrities have vowed to leave the country if Trump gets elected.

Chelsea Handler
The comedian and talk show host has vowed to move to “Canada if [Trump] gets elected.
“I don’t know what the rules are to move there but a lot of us are feeling that way,” Handler said. “A log of us are going to want to leave the country.”
Cher
Vocal legend Cher has been more than outspoken this election cycle, and plans to take some pretty extreme steps if Donald Trump take the Oval Office.
“If he were to be elected, I’m moving to Jupiter,” Cher tweeted.
Bryan Cranston
Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston doesn’t think Donald Trump will actually win the presidency, but has a plan just in case he does.
“I would definitely move,” Cranston said. “It’s not real to me that that would happen. I hope to God it won’t.”
Amy Schumer
Comedian Amy Schumer thinks it’s “crazy” that Donald Trump could defeat Hillary Clinton, but he does she’s promised to move to Spain.
“My act will change because I’ll need to learn to speak Spanis because I will move to Spain, or somewhere else,” Schumer said. “It’s beyond my comprehension if Trump won. It’s too crazy.”
Barbra Streisand
Singing legend Barbra Streisand will be taking her talents elsewhere if Donald Trump takes the Oval Office. She’s got two countries lined up just in case.
“I’m either coming to [Australia], if you’ll let me in, or Canada,” Streisand said.”
Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus is anything but shy when it comes to her opinion of Donald Trump. If the reality TV star becomes president of the United States, this singer has vowed to leave the country.
“Honestly f**k this shit I am moving if this is my president! I don’t say things I don’t mean!),” Cyrus said.
Samuel L. Jackson
Hollywood legend Samuel L. Jackson is definitely not a fan of Donald Trump. If the Repubclian candidate wins against Hillary Clinton, he’s vowed to move far, far away.
“If that motherf—er becomes president, I’m moving my black ass to South Africa,” Jackson said.
Whoopi Goldberg
The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg has repeatedly slammed Donald Trump on her show, claiming all he does is say “stuff isn’t working.” If he takes the Oval Office, she’s getting out of town.
“Maybe it’s time for me to move, you know,” Golderbg said. “I can afford to go.”
Keegan-Michael Key
Comedian Keegan-Michael Key is among the celebrities who just can’t stand to stay in American if Donald Trump becomes president, and he’s ready to move if necessary.
“It’s like, 10 minutes from Detroit,” Key said. “That’s where I’m from; my mom lives there. It’d make her happy too.”
George Lopez
Donald Trump is wildly concerned about immigration, but comedian George Lopez says the presidential candidate really doesn’t have anything to worry about.
“If he wins, he won’t have to worry about immigration. We’ll all go back,” Lopez said.
Raven-Symoné
Disney star Raven-Symoné is taking her vow one step further than most celebrities, claiming that for her, it will take less than a Donald Trump win to persuade her to move.
[I’ll move to Canada] if any Republican gets nominated,” Raven-Symoné said.
Rev. Al Sharpton
Civil rights activist Rev. Al Sharpton is well prepared in the even Donald Trump becomes the president of the United States, and is ready to move at moment’s notice.
“I’m also reserving my ticket to get out of here if he wins. Only because he’d probably have me deported anyhow,” Sharpton said.
Neve Campbell
Scream star Neve Campbell is moving back to her native Canada if Donald Trump defeats Hillary Clinton, because the thought of him taking office “honestly terrifying.”
Lena Dunham
Girls creator Lena Dunham seems more prepared than most to move if Donald Trump takes the Oval Office, having already picked an exact location in Canada.
“I know a lot of people have been threatening to do this, but I really will … I know a lovely place in Vancouver and I can get my work done from there,” Dunham said.
Eddie Griffin
Comedian Eddie Griffin is prepared to move to Africa if Donald Trump sits in the White House, going so far as to say he’d prefer to see Kany West as president over the current Republican nominee.
“If he build a wall to keep Mexicans out, I know what the [expletive] he feel about a [N-word],” Griffin said.
Spike Lee
Spike Lee is quite prepared to leave the country if Donald Trump beats Hillary Clinton and claims the title of president of the United States, but he will definitely relocate.
“[I’ll be] moving back to the republic of Brooklyn, New York,” Lee said.
Amber Rose
Model Amber Rose isn’t only not voting for Donald Trump, she’s planning on leaving the country if he’s elected president. And she already knows which country she’s moving to.
“I’m leaving the United States if [Trump] is elected … I’m moving to Canada. It’s over,” Rose said.
Omari Hardwick
Actor Omari Hardwick is ready to take his entire family to Italy should Donald Trump become the next president of the United States.
“The things he opens his mouth and says blow my mind. And it blows my mind that he has supporters,” Hardwick said.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg
U.S Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is an unlikely person to make idle threaths, but she’s said she could see herslef moving to New Zealand should Donald Trump become the next president of the United States.
“I can’t imagine what this place would be — I can’t imagine what the country would be — with Donald Trump as our president. For the country, it could be four years. For the court, it could be — I don’t even want to contemplate that,” Ginsburg said.
“Now it’s time for us to move to New Zealand,” she added.
Jon Stewart
The Daily Show host Jon Stewart wants to get as far away as possbile from planet Earth if Donald Trump sits in the White House. Maybe he’ll join Elon Musk on his mission to Mars.
“I would consider getting in a rocket and going to another planet, because clearly this planet’s gone bonkers,” Stewart said.
