RHONJ Star Teresa Giudice Living It Up In Puerto Rico While Husband Joe Is Behind Bars
Sometimes, you just gotta stop worrying about all the things that stress you out, pack your bags, [...]
Teresa and her husband Joe filed for bankruptcy in 2009, claiming to be in debt around $11million.
In 2011, they dropped their petitions but that bankruptcy filing ultimately led to federal fraud charges being brought against them.
The couple ended up being accused of hiding assets, as well as failing to disclose critical information about Teresa's RHONJ salary, rental properties, and their businesses.
Teresa spent most of 2015 behind bars but ended up being released right before Christmas of that same year.
She later wrote a book called Turning Tables, which was about her experiences in prison, and the events leading up to it.
After all that was said and done, Teresa returned to filming RHONJ. And then not long after, in March of 2016, Joe began his prison stint.
He's not currently scheduled to be released until sometime in 2019.
While it can't be easy having her husband in prison, and especially with him scheduled to be in there for so long, Teresa looks like she's doing her best to make the most of a bad situation.
