Doug Stanhope's latest stand-up comedy show titled No Place Like Home has been set for a September 15 launch date on the ad-free streaming channel Seeso.

The producers on the show include Pirates of the Caribbean actor Johnny Depp, Christi Dembrowski, Brian Hennigan, Sam Sarkar and Brian Volk-Weiss of Comedy Dynamics, according to Deadline. The comedy special was directed and produced by Brian Hennigan.

The stand-up performance was taped in Bisbee, Arizona near Tucson, which is Stanhope's hometown. The subject matter for the comedy routine wouldn't quite fall into the category of politically correct as the topics include: global poverty, ISIS beheadings, Vietnam viets, LGBT issues, the mentally ill, and being locked up abroad. The comedian also throws in a few jokes at the expense of Gabrielle Giffords, Caitlyn Jenner, the Duggar daughters and the late Robin Williams.

According to Stanhope's website, his routine is "fueled by equal amounts of anger, outrage and alcohol," and that he "rails against Western civilization's slide into apathy and stupidity, always on the edge of implosion yet fully in control and never afraid to risk upsetting his audiences."

Stanhope has been longtime friends with producer Johnny Depp. The duo recently had their friendship garner national attention when Stanhope became involved in Depp's dispute with his now ex-wife, Amber Heard. Stanhope publicly sided with Johnny Depp and insulted Heard, which led to him being slapped with a defamation lawsuit by the actress.

Do you look forward to watching Doug Stanhope's upcoming comedy special No Place Like Home, coming to Seeso on September 15?
