Chris Brown is officially out on bail after the "Don't Wake Me Up" singer posted $250,000 to be released from jail on Tuesday night. The 27-year-old R&B crooner was arrested at his Tarzana home earlier in the day for assault with a deadly weapon.

The woman who accused Brown of threatening her, former beauty queen Baylee Curran, told the authorities that he made threats to her with a gun after she made comments admiring the jewelry in his home. On Tuesday, officers arrived at Brown's residence around 3 a.m. and stayed until a search warrant was obtained.

Shortly before his arrest, Brown is said to have thrown a duffel bag out of his home that contained guns and drugs. The singer yelled "come and get me" after throwing the bag, according to multiple sources.

In since-deleted videos, Brown took to Instagram to declare his innocence of Curran's accusations. "I stay out of the way, take care of my daughter, do work," he stated. "I don't even f*** ugly b*****s, triflin' b*****s. Whatever the f*** it is, I"m not on that, bro...I'm innocent. F*** everybody."

After Brown's release from jail, his attorney, Mark Geragos, tweeted an update regarding the case. He wrote: "Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes. Chris is out and well. The allegations against him are demonstrably false #TeamBreezy."

During the incident, Brown's R&B singer friend Ray J was detained at his home. Ray J came to Brown's defense in an Instagram video where he stated, "I'm real upset about today." He continued, "I'm not happy with how things are handled and how people can take a false story and blow it up into something way more than what it should be."

"I support the homie Chris and I support the whole movement," Ray J said. "This s*** gotta change. It can't be like this every time somebody yipping and yapping tryna get an extra buck. It turns around it's all bad on us."
