Fitness celebrity Anna Victoria has over 1.2M followers on Instagram, and when she posted a picture of her belly roll, she got a powerful response from her audience and other media for embracing the changes that come with age.

Emily Skye
Trainer and popular fitness 'grammer Emily Skye showed off her stomach post-dessert when she was bloated. To make a point, she positioned the snap beside another when her stomach was tight with good posture . She writes: "…Here's a reminder from me that I bloat...I also have stretch marks, cellulite and pimples (as you may have seen in previous posts). I'm nowhere near perfect…and that's fine by me!"
Kelsey Wells
My Sweat Life's Kelsey Wells posted a side-by-side to get in on the 'being real' trend. In one photo, she is tightening her abs and standing in good lighting, and in another, neither were true. She urges us to embrace every part of our bodies. "The key is to spend less time picking ourselves apart and more time seeing how beautiful, amazing, and miraculous our bodies are -- bloating, zits, stretch marks, and all," Wells points out.
Jen Widerstrom
Emily Skye inspired trainer Jen Widerstrom to join her in getting real when it comes to those elusive flat abs. She posted a not-so-flattering picture of her stomach, pointing out that we all have positions that are going to give us belly rolls and encouraging us to stop stressing about it.
Alexa Jean
Moms know all to well the pressure society puts on them to have get back their pre-pregnancy body. This unrealistic expectation set by magazines, celebrities, friends and family can be overwhelming. Mom and fitness sensation Alexa Jean showed her four-week post-birth photos, showing us it's normal to have stretch marks and belly rolls.
"If you're finding yourself obsessing about, feeling ashamed of or apologizing for the appearance of your body, even if you haven't just had a child, STOP," she writes. "Our bodies are incredible and amazing and we need to love every inch of it."
Sophia Kay
Scrolling through Instagram, it's easy to think all of those celebrities we follow have perfect bodies. London-based personal trainer and fitness blogger Sophia Kay posted two photos taken minutes apart. In one, she was wearing underwear that fit and angled her body to show off her flat stomach. In the other, her underwear didn't fit and the pose wasn't flattering.
"I'm not saying that all before/after selfies are fake because a lot of them represent very hard work and commitment but make sure you aren't taken in by the fake ones," Kay says.
Tiffany Brien
Former beauty queen turned blogger Tiffany Brien showed off her belly rolls, which immediately received a lot of attention and was picked up by media everywhere.
Weeks later, she posted another picture showing another "reality check from behind the scenes." It was a picture of her bloated stomach beside a more flattering picture. The bloated picture was taken during a time when she thought she was doing everything right, but her body just wasn't responding.
"My body just decided to not work properly for a while," she said.
Brien reminds us that sometimes our bodies aren't going to be perfect regardless of how hard we work. And that's okay.
