The new Los Angeles Skyslide may not be the safest attraction in the popular area of California. Never mind the fact that you are suspended 1,000 feet above ground and quickly making your way down a glass slide that could crack at any time, the video of this woman wiping out on the way down of the slide proves that this thrill ride may be a bit dangerous, and possibly a lawsuit waiting to happen.

The slide starts at the top of the 70th story of the 1,018-foot-tall U.S. Bank Tower in L.A., which is currently the tallest building in the U.S. to the west of the Mississippi river, according to USA Today. In order to properly slide down to the 69th floor where the ride ends, riders must board a gray mat making the surface extra slippery. The president and CEO of the OUE of the Americas, Lucy Rumantir, claims that the slide is made of 1 1/4 inch thick glass that is strong enough to hold a school bus full of people.

People including Jimmy Kimmel's right-hand man Guillermo have also taken a ride on the Skyslide. Kimmel posted the video on Twitter with the caption: "A genuinely terrified @IAmGuillermo rides the Skyslide 1,000 feet above L.A."

Admission onto the Skyspace costs $25 for adults, $22 for seniors, and $19 for children between ages 3-12. Then to ride the Skyslide it will cost another $8 to ride.

Would you take a ride on the Skyslide or do you think you will avoid the new attraction next time you are in Los Angeles?
