Today is the big day. Americans are casting their ballots for their preferred presidential candidate and the world waits anxiously as the votes are tallied.

It's been a brutal election cycle with supporters on both side vehemently defending their candidate. Riots have broken out, nasty words have been traded, and scandals have surfaced on a daily basis.

But maybe that's just politics.
