Teen Mom OG star Amber Portwood was released from prison three years ago and has always been candid about it, according to MTV.

During this week's episode, Portwood's fiancé Matt organized a surprise birthday party for her, but it was another surprise that brought Amber to tears.

Matt surprised Portwood with her cellmate, Nicole, from prison and the reunion was emotional. They exchanged sweet compliments and talked about how much their lives have changed since they last saw each other.

In an interview Portwood said,"It's not normal for you to stay with the same person your whole stint, but we did. We became so close."

Although Portwood and Nicole had their ups and downs during their time together, Portwood credits Nicole for helping her get through her time in prison.
