This fall, Matthew McConaughey could be your film professor. The 46-year-old Oscar winner will be teaching a class at his alma-mater, the University of Texas at Austin. The class will revolve around McConaughey's film Free State of Jones, and the University announced that the actor would be returning to teach on Thursday in a Facebook post.

The course will have McConaughey and the film's director Gary Ross (The Hunger Games) co-teaching in a behind the scenes study of Free State of Jones. The teaching will consist of pre-recorded videos of McConaughey and Ross, and will be led by University lecturer Scott Rice. McConaughey is scheduled to make at least one in-person appearance.

McConaughey also taught a class last spring, but students had to sign a non-disclosure agreement since the film hadn't come out yet, according to the San-Antonio Express.

According to IMDB, the plot for Free State of Jones is the story of "A disillusioned Confederate army deserter returns to Mississippi and leads a militia of fellow deserters, runaway slaves, and women in an uprising against the corrupt local Confederate government." The movie was released on June 24, 2016 and brought in over $7.5 million at the U.S. box office.

The class, titled 'Advanced Producing: From Script To Screen,' will be taught to 30 lucky juniors and seniors. The course descriptions reads: "'Script to Screen' takes students behind the scenes of the 2016 Free State of Jones written and directed by Gary Ross (The Hunger Games) and starring Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey (Interstellar). By studying the movie's source material, script, shot lists, storyboards, shooting schedules, VFX, final cut and even exclusive behind the scenes footage, students will garner insight into the production of a major Hollywood feature."

No word yet on whether Professor McConaughey will be giving students letter grades or just delivering some hearty "alright, alright, alright's" to the deserving students.
