Kate Hudson recently shaved her head for a role in an upcoming project, and it looks like the actress is now having a continuous matching moment with one of her kids thanks to her new look.
In a short clip on Instagram, Hudson snaps a quick selfie with her 13-year-old son Ryder and another boy in the background, with the teen sporting a buzz cut not unlike his mom’s.

“#FamilyValues,” Hudson captioned the moment. “#UncleBoston #RydMan.”
Hudson is also mom to son Bingham, 6.
The star’s upcoming project is being directed by singer Sia, and Hudson shaved her head in July for her role. Since then, she’s been keeping her new ‘do largely under wraps, wearing a selection of hats and wigs.
The actress was recently spotted out in California in a gray sports bra, matching leggings and a white jacket tied around her waist, covering her hair with a dark baseball cap.
Over the weekend, Hudson attended a friend’s birthday party and an a cappella rendition of “Jealous” by Labrinth, donning another cap along with a flowing skirt and sweater.
