Joy-Anna (Duggar) and Austin Forsyth Celebrate One Month Anniversary With Gorgeous Sunset Snap

After tying the knot this past May, TLC stars, Joy-Anna (Duggar) and Austin Forsyth are enjoying their one month anniversary while in the Middle East.

The newlyweds took to Instagram to share a charming snapshot of the two while in Israel, standing with a stunning backdrop of the Sea of Gaililee. The sea, also known as Lake Tiberias, is the country’s largest freshwater lake.

Forsyth captioned the snap of the two lovebirds, “Celebrating our 1 month anniversary in Israel,” while adding the hashtag, “love you forever and always babe.”

Duggar and Forsyth got married just a few months after initially announcing their courtship on a special episode of Counting On: Jinger’s Wedding last November. The two, who were friends for nearly 15 years before dating, bonded over mutual activities such as, road trips, hiking, hunting and church ministries.

The 19-year-old bride revealed in the episode that it was incredibly special to be able to grow up with someone like Forsyth who her family knows very well.

In a recent episode of Counting On, Forsyth said in interview for the reality series that the experience of asking for Joy-Anna’s hand in marriage from Jim-Bob Duggar was “a little nerve-wrecking.”

But from the looks of their anniversary snap, we can tell it was definitely worth the anxiety!
