Julia Louis-Dreyfus has won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
Considering the actress was up against Amy Schumer from Inside Amy Schumer, Ellie Kemper from Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Tracee Ellis Ross from Black-ish, Laurie Metcalfe from Getting On, Lily Tomlin from Grace and Frankie, it was a major win for the actress. This is the actress’ 5th consecutive Emmy win and has won a total of 8 all-time Emmys in her career with 22 nominations.
