Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson has signed an overall deal to extend his contract with Starz, and is also currently in development on a new superhero drama called "Tomorrow, Today." In order to develop new projects for the network with Jackson's G-Unit Film & Television, Inc., the music mogul has made a new agreement with Starz that extends his existing overall deal for another year into September 2018, according to Variety.

"Tomorrow, Today" is the first project that Jackson and G-Unit Film & Television, Inc. will develop for Starz. Jackson crafted the concept for the upcoming series based on a screenplay he had written himself. He will also serve as the executive producer on the project alongside Anthony Cipriano ("Bates Motel," "12 and Holding") and Dan Kay ("I.T.").

Jackson said in a statement: "I am looking forward to continuing my relationship with my Starz family, we have had great success together on 'Power' and I am excited to get going on all of our upcoming projects together. I knew Starz would be the perfect home for 'Tomorrow, Today.' This project is very personal to me…creating it, writing it, finding the best team for it and I will continue to be involved every step of the way."

The storyline for "Tomorrow, Today" will follow a veteran from the south side of Chicago, who becomes the personal experiment of a deranged prison doctor trying to create an unstoppable killing machine. The man is set free, but on the run, and must discover how to reconcile with the world that has turned against him, and use his powers for good.

Curtis Jackson is represented by APA and attorneys Stephen Savva and Eric Feig. Cipriano, Kay and Morris are also represented by APA.
