It's been revealed that Sonny Landham, a Hollywood actor best-known for roles in Predator and 48 Hrs, has passed away at the age of 76.
According to The Wrap, Landham "died from congestive heart failure Thursday at a Lexington, Kentucky, hospital."
In Predator, Landham played Billy Sole, a tracker who was part of the team tasked by the CIA to rescue hostages who had been taken captive by insurgents.
Interestingly, Landham is said to have actually begun his acting career starring in adult films before going on to star in movies such as The Warriors, Lock Up and Action Jackson.
Landham also turned up on a few TV shows over the years as well, like The A-Team and Miami Vice.
The last project that Landham turned up in, however, was a small-budget film called Disintegration, back in 2007.
In addition to his acting career, Landham also had dreams of political success. On multiple occasions, he threw his name in the hat to run for Senate.
After word of his death was reported, fans took to social media to express their sympathy.
One user wrote, "R.I.P. Sonny Landham, who was every bit as BADASS as @Schwarzenegger in PREDATOR."
Another said, "No....dammit. Rest In Peace Sonny Landham. You will always be a badass Predator tracker."
