In his young career, Seth Rollins already has an impressive WrestleMania resume. Few can say they've pinned Roman Reigns and Triple H at WWE's biggest show. However, the Kingslayer wants to up the ante.

In a recent interview with Delaware 105.9's Rob Petree on Eagle 977, Rollins was asked about a potential WrestleMania match with The Rock.

"Obviously Rocky [The Rock], he's a little busy these days, he's doing some Hollywood things, doing some movies, making TV shows, all sorts of good stuff. If the opportunity came about, I would have no problem taking on The Rock at WrestleMania, sounds like a good time to me."

Could he beat the Rock?

"Oh, absolutely, I'm in the prime of my career right now. The Rock, he's past his prime, he's had his day, he's an old man at this point in time. I'm young, and youthful, and vibrant. I'm ready to go."

The question has some precedent, as Rollins was once suggested he should one day fight the Rock by a fan on Twitter:

Could we actually see Rollins vs. Rock at WrestleMania 34? As the Architect maybe Rollins could conjure up a big enough movement on Twitter to get this ball rolling, but it's simply hard to see right now. The Rock is deeply embedded in Hollywood right now. He's become the industry's most bankable actor so to picture him walking away from such success feels nearly impossible.

It does seem that The Rock has a soft place in his heart for WWE, as he routinely makes a WrestleMania appearance. In fact until WrestleMania 33, Rocky has been a part of 6 straight 'Manias. He certainly did not need to do that, so we can assume that The Rock loves his wrestling roots. He seems to be keen that without wrestling he wouldn't be where he is today.

So while a match against Rollins is a long shot, don't ever think that the Rock is done wrestling. While he'll never be a full timer, he may just have on more WrestleMania classic before he officially hangs up his boots.

For Rollins, he may want to keep stoking this fire. Big matches have started in weirder circumstances. However, as good as Rollins is, he's got some work to do before he earns a WrestleMania match with the Great One.
