Ten years ago, King of Queens ended its nine-year run on CBS. The show was a launching point for comedian Kevin James, and was one of the more celebrated sitcoms on TV during that time.
With James’ newest series Kevin Can Wait bringing all of the nostalgia back, fans have started to wonder what’s become of the other stars of the show. After ten years off the air, where are the cast members of King of Queens?

Kevin James
After King of Queens, James’ career took off. He starred in multiple films with Adam Sandler, including I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, Grown Ups, and The Zookeeper.
The work with Sandler made James a bit of a household name, and it helped him move forward in his career as a producer.
Back in 2016, James debuted Kevin Can Wait on CBS, his first TV series since King of Queens. He stars and produces in the series, which became the most-watched new comedy on TV last season, so it’s no surprise that a second installment was ordered.
Leah Remini
Aside from Kevin James, Leah Reminiย was the only cast member to appear in all 206 episodes of King of Queens, where she played James’ on-screen wife Carrie Heffernan.
Recently, Reminiย has unveiled the highly-celebrated documentary about her conflict with the Church of Scientology, called Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath.
In the season one finale of Kevin Can Wait, Reminiย was brought on to play Kevin’s former police partner Vanessa. The chemistry between the two actors hadn’t slipped since the King of Queens days, so the producers decided to bump up Reminiย to a series regular in season two.

Jerry Stiller
The famous father of comedian Ben Stiller was the third major star of King of Queens, appearing in all-but ten episodes.ย
Stiller played Arthur, the lovable father-in-law to Heffernan, who lived in the basement of the young couple’s home.
Earlier this month, Stiller celebrated his 90th birthday, but he’s still doing a bit of acting here and there. He reprised his role of Maury in Zoolanderย 2 last year, and lent his voice to Planes: Fire & Rescue in 2014.

Patton Oswalt
Like James, Patton Oswaltย saw a huge career lift after appearing in King of Queens, where he played Spence Olchinย in 162 episodes.
Oswaltย has appeared in numerous shows and movies, including Young Adult, Justified, Two and a Half Men, Nature Calls, Parks and Recreation, and many others. The actor was recently featured as a guest star on Marvel’sย Agents of SHIELD, and will star in the upcoming comedy series A.P. Bio.
The actor suffered through a tragedy in 2016, when his wife of 11 years, Michelle McNamara, sadly passed away. The coupleย had one daughter, eight-year-old Alice.

Victor Williams
Victor Williams played Deacon Palmer in 180 episodes of King of Queens, providing Doug with his best work buddy.
After serving as a UPS driver on King of Queens for nine years, Williams moved on to several other TV roles. Most notable among them, Detective Jeffries in the celebrated series The Affair.
Recently, Williams landed a role on the Bryan Cranstonย Amazon series, Sneaky Pete.

Gary Valentine
Gary Valentine played Doug’s cousin Danny on King of Queens, but the family connection isn’t just on-screen.
Valentine is actually the older brother of Kevin James, and the duo were both born with the last name Knipfing.
Being James’ real life brother, it was no surprise that Valentine was announced as a series regular on Kevin Can Wait. The actor portrays Kevin’s firefightingย friend Kyle Gable.
