Report Claims Lil Wayne's Private Plane Makes Emergency Landing After He Suffers Seizures

Grammy Award-winning rapper Lil Wayne's private plane made an emergency landing in Omaha, Nebraska, after he apparently suffered a seizure Monday, TMZ details.

The 33-year-old allegedly blacked out while en-route to California from Milwaukee. When he became conscious, he apparently refused medical treatment.

However, just minutes after taking off again, TMZ details that he suffered another seizure and was further transported to a local hospital.

This isn't the first time his plane has been forced to make an emergency landing due to a seizure, as it also happened back in 2012.

"The bad news is … I'm prone to seizures," Lil Wayne explained to Power 106, after just having survived a series of back-to-back seizures which kept him in the hospital for almost a week in March 2013. "Like, this isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I've had a bunch of seizures, y'all just never hear about them. … I go to sleep and wake up in the hospital. I don't feel anything.

"It got real bad 'cause I had three of them in a row, and on the third one, my heart rate went down to, like, 30 percent," he continued. "Basically, I could've died, so that is why it was so serious. But the reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest, overworking myself."

At the time, he further explained how he has no warning before having an epileptic episode.

Due to his serious health condition, Lil Wayne reportedly almost died in May 2013.
