Wednesday on The Late Late Show, 13 Hours actor John Krasinski joined host James Corden to discuss the duo’s long-standing friendship, and their tremendous on-screen partnerships throughout the years.
Little did you know, James Corden and John Krasinski were actually supposed to appear in some of your all-time favorite movies. As it turns out, the duo were initially cast in several classic films before being replaced at the last minute by a bunch of hacks like Jack Nicholson, Samuel L. Jackson, and Emily Blunt.

Ok, so they have never actually been in a movie together, but the fake documentary had us cracking up as Corden and Krasinski jumped into character to spoof motions picture classics such as A Few Good Men, Gone With the Wind, Pulp Fiction, and Into the Woods.
While portraying Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson’s characters in A Few Good Men, Corden and Krasinski completed botched the famous “You can’t handle the truth” scene that ultimately resulted in their dismissal.
In Gone With the Wind, Krasinski just couldn’t wrap his mind around the time period element of the picture as he pulled out several present-day props. Ultimately, the duo was fired.
Arguably the most hilarious part from the skit was when Krasinski and Corden donned long, black wigs and were taking on John Travolta’s role in Pulp Fiction. Instead of delivering the Bible verse scripture lines while wielding a pistol like Travolta so memorably did in the movie, both actors couldn’t help themselves but to breakout in a verse of Coolio’s “Gangsta’s Paradise.” Once again, both actors were fired.
Check out the hilarious video above to see how some of these classic films were almost drastically different according to James Corden and John Krasinski.
