Biden will reportedly appear as himself in a news conference for an episode scheduled to air this fall. Also, it is worth noting that he has been an outspoken champion on the issues of domestic violence and sexual assault. The Vice President even introduced Lady Gaga’s performance of the Academy award nominated best original song “Til It Happens to You” at the Oscars, which contained a powerful message regarding the issue of campus rape.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit actor Ice-T, who portrays NYPD Detective Odafin Tutuola, tweeted a photo of Biden on set with co-star Mariska Hargitay. The tweet was posted with the caption: “Joe is in the Building…SVU.”
