One of television’s most innocent programs, The Muppets, was given a raunchy transformation into a hilarious parody movie trailer titled Fifty Shades of Muppets.
The humorous clip is a play on the wildly popular movies and books Fifty Shades of Grey, based on the novels penned by author E.L. James. Kermit the Frog stars as the mysterious businessman Christian Grey while Miss Piggy appears as the shy, submissive lead character Anastasia Steele.

The video is set to the same voices and soundtrack of the original 2015 film starring Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan. The trailer also includes the intimate version of Beyonce’s smash hit “Crazy in Love.”
During the viral video, the puppet couple goes out for a dinner date, has a steamy make-out session, and even enter into the infamous Red Room.
YouTube user Darth Blender shared the video with the caption: “Miss Piggy is a modest student who suddenly meets the powerful and charming businessman Kermit – The Frog. The attraction is immediate and soon begin an intense relationship on which discovers their deepest desires and pleasures of sadomasochism.”
The parody video used excerpts from the following Muppets movies: The Muppet Video (1979), The Muppets Take Manhattan (1984), Muppets From Space (1999), The Muppets’ Wizard of Oz (2005), The Muppets (2011), and Muppets Most Wanted (2014).
The spoof trailer comes only weeks after the full trailer for the sequel Fifty Shades Darker dropped on September 13.
Check out the Fifty Shades of Muppets trailer above. Hopefully it can hold you over until Valentine’s Day 2017 when Fifty Shades Darker hits theaters.
What would you rather see in theaters? A full length Fifty Shades of Muppets or the Fifty Shades Darker sequel?
