Forbes has released the World’s Highest Paid TV Actors list for 2016, and it might come as a shock. Actually, the top four actors on the list just happen to be from the same show!

So, who do we get to congratulate for making the biggest bucks on television? How about the men from Big Bang Theory!

Yep, that’s right, no “Bazinga!” there.

At the top of the list is, in some opinion, one of the best characters on television today, none other than Mr. Sheldon Cooper. This past year, Jim Parsons brought home a ridiculously impressive $25.5 million making him the highest-paid TV actor of the year.

Now fans of the show who follow the regular Big Bang news might not be very surprised. As it turns out, the most recent season of the show, which just premiered season 10, was contracted at $1 million per episode. This is probably why this amazing cast was able to sweep the top four spots on the list.

Johnny Galecki came in at number two making $24 million. Simon Helberg grabbed number three with $22.5 million. Finally, the number four spot went to Kunal Nayyar at $22 million.

After you pass the men of Big Bang Theory, the number five spot on the list went to fan favorite Mark Harmon of NCIS with a solid $20 million dollars – $2 million less than fourth place. According to Forbes, NCIS is the third-most watched television program after the Super Bowl and Big Bang Theory.

Who would have thought a show about the antics of group of nerds would be the highest paying and most popular television show of 2016? Well, anyone who is a fan of the show knows that this cast certainly deserves every penny.

Speaking of Penny, actress Kaley Cuoco came in at number two on the Forbes World’s Highest Paid TV Actresses list for her role on Big Bang Theory, making $24.5 million. She was outshined by Sofia Vergara who made ridiculously impressive $43 million this year.
