The Big Bang Theory, the ultimate geek comedy, returns to the airwaves tonight on CBS with the premiere episode titled “The Military Miniaturization.
Colonel Williams (Dean Norris), an Air Force representative from the Department of Material Command sits down to talk with Wolowitz about possibly funding his scientific research. Meanwhile, in the background Sheldon seems to have a problem with giving the plans to the Death Star to them military.

Colonel Williams assures them that their technology won’t be used for weaponry. Yeah, right.
Across the hall, the ladies are discussing a not-so-secret pregnancy thanks to some empty ice cream bar wrappers. Oh, and Penny – she’s the one who blabbed! She spills the beans as soon as Bernadette runs off to tell her job about her pregnancy.
Now that there are three couples on the show, we might see Sheldon propose to Amy and Penny start to have some serious baby fever.
Leonard and Sheldon are brilliant physicists – geniuses in the laboratory, but socially challenged everywhere else. Enter beautiful, street-smart neighbor, Penny, who aims to teach them a thing or two about life. Despite their on-again, off-again relationship in the past, Leonard believes he’s found true love with Penny. Even Sheldon has found a female companion, entering into a “Relationship Agreement” with neurobiologist Amy Farrah Fowler. In their free time, Leonard and Sheldon continue to enjoy frequent trips to the comic book store and fantasy role-playing games with their ever-expanding universe of friends, including fellow scientists Koothrappali, Wolowitz and Wolowitz’s adorable microbiologist wife, Bernadette.
