Taylor Lautner has just been cast as a series regular for Fox television show Scream Queens. The Twilight actor joins on for the second season of the show developed by Glee creator Ryan Murphy.

The storyline for the second season will “shift the action from a college campus to a hospital, where some of the most fascinating and bizarre medical cases are under observation,” according to Variety.

Lautner will take on the role of one the series’ lead characters, Dr. Cassidy Cascade, “a doctor at the hospital who suffers from a strange medical condition and becomes a suspect when a series of tragic events plagues the institution.”

Another huge name added to the cast for the second season of the show is John Stamos. Stamos and Lautner will join returning season 1 stars: Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Glen Powell and Niecey Nash; who are all expected to reprise their season 1 roles.

Scream Queens was created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan who also work as the writers and directors on the series. The show was brought to Fox through Ryan Murphy Television and Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision in association with 20th century Fox TV.

Lautner’s recent projects have included a comedic role in the Netflix original movie The Ridiculous Six starring Adam Sandler as well as a current starring role on British comedy Cuckoo alongside Greg Davies. Other credits of Lautner’s include the feature films: Tracers directed by John Singleton, Abduction starring Lautner and Lilly Collins, and Valentine’s Day starring Ashton Kutcher, Taylor Swift, Jessica Biel, Julia Roberts, and Anne Hathaway.

The Scream Queen‘s season 2 premiere is on Tuesday, September 20 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
