Netflix announced Tuesday that hit original series Making A Murderer would be returning with all new episodes. The new installments to the popular documentary will take fans back inside the story of convicted murderer Steven Avery, and his co-defendant, Brendan Dassey, as they challenged their convictions against the State. Executive producers and co-directors Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos are returning to take on the next part of the project.

The next episodes will provide an extensive look at the post-conviction process as well as the emotional toll the process takes on all parties involved, according to Variety. The new content will offer exclusive access to Avery’s new lawyer Kathleen Zellner, and Dassey’s legal team, led by Laura Nirider and Steve Drizin. There will also be intimate access to the families and characters close to the case.
