After a spout of sibling rivalry, Kylie Jenner has had to change her phone number. And, if you’re looking to nab the previously famous number, you’ll have to wait up to a year for the privilege.
Luckily for Kylie, Verizon was able to switcher her phone number. This is a standard criteria for anyone who complains to the company that they are receiving an onslaught of harassing or unwanted calls or texts, which was likely to happen to Kylie given the leak.

Kylie’s older brother, Robert Kardashian had a bit of a bout with his sisters over a Kardashian/Jenner baby shower that was supposed to take place for Rob. However, it seems as though the family didn’t invite Rob’s girlfriend and future mother of his child, Blac Chyna. This outraged Rob, who took it out on Kylie by tweeting out her phone number to his millions of followers.
Normally, after a phone number has been switched due to harassing calls, the company takes if offline for at least 50 days. After that a new customer, or someone who would like to change their own number, can choose to have it. However, in some cases, those numbers can be held for longer.
In the case of Kylie Jenner’s phone number, Verizon seems to think its best that the number stays shelved for the maximum amount of time โ a whole year. So, if you were hoping to pick up this number โ or were desperately trying to stay away from it, don’t worry, no one will get their hands on it until September 2017.
