
Kaley Cuoco knows she messed up and wants everyone to know she’s sorry.
The Big Bang Star has issued an apology after she posted a picture of her dogs sitting on an American flag, which caused an internet firestorm. She took to Instagram on Tuesday evening to set the record straight.

“First off, please know, I have the utmost respect for my country,” she wrote. “I am a proud American in every sense of the word.”
She owned her mistake and acknowledged why it had upset people.
“Yesterday I made a mistake by posting the picture that was taken of my sweet dogs posing on an American flag,” she continued. “I sincerely apologize to anyone that has been offended by my previous post. This in no way reflects my feelings toward what the American flag represents.”
When fans noticed that her dogs were perched on a flag spread on the ground, they were quick to demand an apology from the actress.
The actress’s statement concluded, “I am a proud American, today, tomorrow, always.”
