Hilary Duff is going retro for Halloween.
It’s been almost two decades since the Hollywood star first appeared on the silver screen as Wendy “The Good Little Witch” in the 1998 Halloween film Casper Meets Wendy. Now, 18 years later, she donning her costume once again just in time for the upcoming spooky holiday.

Duff took to Instagram to show off her costume, posting a photo of her in the legendary red cloak.
“Well just in time for Halloween @snapchat gave me this little treat of a filter #caspermeetswendy #wendythegoodwitch #20yearsago?! #ahhhhhhh,” Duff wrote.
The costume comes courtesy of Snapchat’s daily filter, which means everyone who has downloaded the social media app can take part in the fun.
The photo serves to show fans what Wendy would look like as an adult, though there’s no word on Casper’s whereabouts. In the original film, Wendy teams up with the friendly ghost to put an end to a wicked warlock who refuses to stop terrorizing her family.
We won’t post any spoilers just in case you’ve yet to see the iconic film, but needless to say the friendship between Wendy and Casper has already gone down in history and will certainly survive for many more Halloweens to come.
